虛心的人有福了 因為天國是他們的

溫柔的人有福了 因為他們必承受地土
飢渴慕義的人有福了 因為他們必得飽足

憐恤人的人有福了 因為他們必蒙憐恤
清心的人有福了 因為他們必得見神
使人和睦的人有福了 因為他們必稱為神的兒子
為義受逼迫的人有福了 因為天國是他們的

Blest are those whose spirit is poor,
For their home is the realm of heaven.
Blest are the sinners who mourn,
For, repenting, they’ll be consoled.
Blessèd are those who are meek,
For the kingdoms of Earth they’ll inherit.
And blessèd are those craving righteousness,
For the hungry will be made full.

Blessèd are the ones with pure hearts,
For unburdened, they will see God.
Blessèd are those who forgive,
For to them is forgiveness shown.
And blessèd are those who make peace,
For they’ll be renowned as God’s sons and daughters.
And blessèd are the ones whom men persecute,
For the heavenly realm’s their home.
